WEBINAR
SignWell Dev Office Hour: Embedded Signing, Webhooks, MCP, and CLI
If you're integrating SignWell into your product—or exploring whether you should—this session shows you how it actually works.
SignWell's technical team walks through the full developer toolkit, from embedding a signing flow directly into your application to automating document workflows from the terminal. Rather than a slide-heavy overview, this is a working demo: real API calls, live webhook events firing in real time, and a candid Q&A with the engineers who build and support the integration layer every day.
Here's what's covered:
- API and documentation overview: How to think about connecting your application to SignWell, where to find the right endpoints, and common issues to watch for before you go live
- Embedded signing, live demo: Creating a document via API, setting the embedded signing flag, generating per-recipient signing URLs, loading the SignWell JavaScript library, and rendering a fully functional signing interface inside an iFrame
- Webhooks: Setting up a callback URL, monitoring real-time document events (created, sent, viewed, signed, completed), and verifying that events are legitimately coming from SignWell using HMAC hash verification
- MCP integration: Connecting SignWell to your AI assistant (Claude and Cursor supported out of the box) so you can create, send, and manage documents without leaving your LLM interface
- CLI: Installing the SignWell CLI, authenticating with your API key, and managing documents directly from the terminal using templates or local files
- Developer Q&A: Webhook verification, controlling signing email notifications, bulk sends, Google Drive and native integrations (QuickBooks, Xero, Close CRM), and SDKs

1. Understand why traditional work-life balance advice doesn't apply to entrepreneurs—and what framework does.
You'll learn the fundamental difference between employee work (the "square" with defined boundaries) and entrepreneurial work (the "amoeba" that expands without structure). Discover why research shows entrepreneurs experience different burnout triggers than employees, and why the protective factors that prevent entrepreneurial burnout—autonomy and meaning—must be actively cultivated, not assumed.
2. Identify where you fall on the Freedom Continuum and why it matters for your business growth.
Most entrepreneurs operate in "Arbitrary Freedom," taking whatever comes next without structure, which research shows consumes 36% of work weeks in administrative tasks and reactive work, crowding out strategic priorities. You'll learn the distinction between Arbitrary Freedom (Isaiah Berlin's "negative liberty") and Strategic Freedom ("positive liberty"), and discover why flow states and optimal performance require goal-directed, structured systems—not unlimited optionality.
